Establishing Intent.
Nintendo Switch + Labo was released as a buildable corrugated cardboard system for use with Labo software and shipped together.
Although inspired by Labo, I wanted to design a buildable accessory that would transform the console, allowing the user to engage with the console in a new, yet nostalgic, experience. Games such as Street Fighter are a natural fit for the classic video game mode. The addition of pixel art, enables the user to get creative with their Arcade Cabinet.

Mechanical button remapping allows the user to press the shoulder buttons on the Joy-Cons just like traditional arcade buttons
Includes two arcade sticks that attach to the top of Joy-Con analog sticks for authentic arcade play
Cutouts allow for console ventilation and for a charging cable to be plugged in
